Connemara Woolen Socks
Connemara woollen socks are manufactured in Cornamona, a small village nestled in the Connemara foothills, in County Galway, Ireland. The socks are made with a high content of wool - the natural thermal fibre - air trapped within the fibres gives wool its insulating qualities. The surface wool is water resistant and its interior is highly absorbent, this means that the socks absorb perspiration keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer.
The socks are available in a wide range of colours of the Irish countryside, purples and greys of the mountains, brown and greens of the furze, and the pink and red of the setting sun, bringing to the wearer a touch of the atmosphere of Ireland. Each pair of socks is individually packaged. Machine wash, line dry.
